While competing at the Great Mississippi River Balloon Race, Puddles the Penguin was given special privileges and allowed to inflate outside the historic Dunleith Inn.
Dunleith is an exquisite 1856 Historic Inn located in the heart of charming Natchez, Mississippi. This unique inn is listed as a National Historic Landmark. Dunleith sits on 40 landscaped acres. The property is graced with original historical buildings dating back to the 1790’s.
Dunleith stands on the site originally occupied by “Routhland”, a house built by Job Routh and his wife during the late 18th century. Their daugther, Mary, a widow at only fifteen years old, took Charles Dahlgren as her second husband and inherited the house.
Exclusive Ballooning’s Chief Pilot Andrew Holly and Operations Director Louise Jones are also staying at the property.
